Man turn ons for different reasons. We fight for honor, to nurture our freedom, and to protect our loved ones. Some fight to defend their possessions, spot of ground others fight against corrupt government. In the days of the draft, contend was non a choice for some. Many did chose to fight because they felt a sense of duty. Some chose to fight because they had an idea that it was glorious and elusive to do so. Some thought being a pop off would bring a sense of dignity and honor to their lives. They did non screw what they were impartting themselves into. In Wilfred Owens poem, Dulce Et Decorum Est, the writer tells astir(predicate) the horrors of war using resource, simile, and ridicule to express the fact that it is not sweet or suitable to fight and die for your country. The vision in Owens poem is gruesome and horrifying. The poem begins with soldiers desperately march away from battle. The soldiers are breed lineied and limping.
